Bio
My name is Abbie Hodges. My pronouns are she/her and I am an Illustrator from the UK and am currently based in Leeds. I have a love for drawing, colour, texture and all things silly. I enjoy blending analogue materials with a contemporary, digital process to create illustrations that are a little bit mad. I’m particularly interested in projects related to children's publishing, branding, and hand-written typography, but will give any solid project a go! I live with my partner in Leeds, UK, but I am originally from a small village in Lancashire. I graduated from the University of Cumbria with a First Class BA (Hons) Illustration degree in 2025 and have been freelancing ever since.
I love hiking, enjoy indoor rock climbing and the occasional 5K run. I also love to read non-fiction book, retro gaming, and my part-time job at the train station.
