This module focuses on going out and drawing from life. 

 OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING

For the first week the task was to draw ten objects you see every day from memory and then draw them again but from direct observation.

​The objects I chose were:

  • Hanging cat ornament
  • Steve Erwin mug
  • My knock off Garfield plush toy
  • Train whistle and carriage key
  • Bathroom mirror 
  • Jar of coloured pencils
  • Boot
  • Snow Fairy perfume spray bottle
  • Wallet

REPORTAGE

This part of the module centres around from life outside, with the drawings relating to a specific theme. The theme I chose was "Winter", allowing me to draw environments and people in a broad way.
